Pretty Useful: Tissue Box Covers
"Pretty" and "useful" are not mutually exclusive. It might seem silly at first to spend good money on "things like this" - tissue paper covers, or trash cans, spoon rests, door stoppers, etc. (all coming soon!). But think of it this way: these are things you not only see - but also actually USE - every day or multiple times a day. A "pretty version" of them can bring you just as much - if not more - simple joy as the things that are designed to be just eye candy.
Target Spring Finds
Spring is just around the corner! It’s been my favorite season the past few years, because it hasn’t gone straight from winter to blazing heat here in Charleston. Low 70s, breezy, and sunny is my ideal combination. Here’s hoping we have a few months of beautiful weather again this year.
Neutral Bunny Nursery
A sweet and functional nursery with a subtle bunny theme! (Is there anything sweeter than a bunny rabbit?) Neutral anchor pieces and special accents bring this room together in a way that's modern but not trendy. White is always right for a nursery (on pieces that can be cleaned).

Affordable Spring Dresses
Love this beautiful pattern so much that I had to give it its own post! I cannot wait for you to see where it’s from (hint - very affordable)!
I also included all our favorite (tried-and-true) white girls’ shoes, and the only bows that will stay in my girls’ fine hair.
Blue and Neutral Target Finds
Excited about these blues, white, neutrals, great patterns, great textures, and GREAT deals!
Pretty and Functional Desk Chairs
These desk chairs all meet some specific criteria:
Around $250 or less.
Available on Amazon.
Not ugly.
Actually functional for sitting and working for long periods of time.
Home Office Accessories
Form meets function in these pretty home office accessories. A lovely desk area can help put you at ease and maybe even inspire some extra creativity while you work.
Affordable Home Office 1
Around $2,400 total. The highest price point of the 3 - but look at all that storage! Ideal for a larger space. We have these shelving pieces in our family/play room, and the quality is amazing for the price. The desk is the showstopper here - the aged dark wood looks sophisticated, and the quality is obvious. The touches of brass and Persian-style pattern of the rug are timeless, and the riverside scenes in the art liven it up a bit.
Affordable Home Office 2
Around $1,100 total. This setup would work great in a smaller area. The framed Charleston map is the focal point of this space, but the woven textures and modern rug keep it from being too stuffy. I love this take on the classic banker's lamp - the white shade really makes it look fresh. The faux plant is a bit of a splurge, but it looks like great quality (i.e. - it looks real!). A rolling filing basket provides extra storage that can be tucked away under the desk.
Affordable Home Office 3
Around $800 total. The super-affordable desk is what makes this one possible. The large faux fiddle leaf fig tree breathes some life into the space. (A real one would be even better!) The warmth of the brass lamp and art frame balance the cool gray tone of the large desk. The jute rug and leather chair add texture and a little softness to the space.
Blue and White Tablescape
A beautiful classic table using lots of affordable pieces and a few timeless splurges. The white cabbage-leaf and light blue "berry and thread" pieces look so pretty together. A few woven touches keeps it from looking too formal, and the patterned napkins and runner make it a little more interesting and special.
Citrus-Inspired Home Decor
Schumacher's Citrus Garden in Pool might be my favorite pattern/fabric of all time. These citrus prints look so fresh and cheerful, and the hits of blue give them some depth and character.
